Bending Spoons Paid Millions for a Cloud Video Pioneer, Volta, Reefilla - December 4, 2024

Volta, a French / Italian Shopify for B2B transactions, raised €6m in a pre-seed round led by Emblem and participated by Robin Capital, Founders Future, Sequoia, a16z, Exor, and Ithaca. Reefilla, a start-up that develops energy storage and mobile power generation solutions also based on second life batteries, announced a new €4.5m round from CDP Venture Capital, HCapital, Azimut, Motor Valley Accelerator. Movopack, a circular e-commerce packaging startup, raised €2.3m from 360 Capital, Greiner Innoventures, Techstars to launch its product in the UK. Neuronova, a startup developing low-power chips for AI on the edge, 🇮🇹raised €1.5m from 360 Capital andTech4Planet. Bending Spoons acquired Brightcove for USD$233m. This is the sixth acquisition announcement in 2024 (the other 5: Meetup, Mosaic Group, StreamYard, Issuu, and WeTransfer).
