How to vote to change the system

How should you vote for in the General election if you are tired of the political status quo or feel disillusioned by the political system altogether? I've always been politically homeless and I know I'm not alone in feeling disillusioned with the current political landscape—frustrated by unresponsive politicians and disenchanted by party politics and lack of vision for the future.
