07. Electric Car Sales Report | Tesla Dominates U.S. | China Remains Global Leader

U.S. electric vehicle sales totaled about 328,000 in 2020, a 4% increase over 2019. Tesla Model 3, Model Y, and Model X continue to dominate US sales with GM's Chevrolet Bolt EV trailing far behind. This report excludes data from Fiat 500e, Honda Clarity EV, Hyundai Ioniq EV, Hyundai Kona EV, Kia Niro EV, Jaguar I-PACE, and some others. On the global sales side of things China remains the global leader in EV car sales, U.S. being third and far behind in just about every way you can measure it.
