Robert Draper is a Writer-at-Large at The New York Times Magazine, as well as a contributing writer to National Geographic. He is the author of several books, including the recently published "To Start a War: How The Bush Administration Took America Into Iraq." Robert first became acquainted with the then-Governor of Texas, George W. Bush, when he was writing for the Texas Monthly.
