Have you ever followed the advice of others as to what you should do in your life and resisted the calling from your heart? It happens to all of us at some point in our lives. Dallas Dance's story is an example of this. Dallas became an exceptional and charismatic leader at a young age. He was appointed the superintendent of the Baltimore County public school system at the age of 30. Following the misguidance of his professional relationships, colleagues and others, Dallas' desire to move up the proverbial ladder as fast as he could to help as many people as he could led him down a dark road. Faced with the prospect of jail time, Dallas would soon discover his mother was given a prognosis of two years to live. It forced Dallas to reflect on what was really important in life.
