Ministers Rest | May 5, 2025 The spiritual journey begins with acknowledging divine goodness and expressing gratitude for life's blessings. Appreciation flows for health, deliverance from difficulties, and both natural and spiritual blessings that extend beyond what our eyes can perceive. There's recognition of how God opens scriptures to believers, preventing a famine of divine wisdom during this season of spiritual transformation. In the midst of worship, believers are called to submit to divine leadership rather than promoting personal agendas. This submission involves aligning with heavenly instructions, having ears attentive to spiritual direction, and hearts receptive like children. The gathering emphasizes the distinction between mere religious ritual and genuine spiritual encounter, with a hunger for authentic baptism of the soul where eyes are opened and hearts understand divine instruction. Looking ahead, an "Open Heaven Conference" is being planned, with prayers focusing on its spiritual atmosphere. The intention is for this to be a gathering of sons rather than a religious event, where God's agenda for this season will be revealed. Prayers request wisdom for how to conduct outreach missions, with recognition that these efforts should create platforms for divine glory rather than human recognition. The first Monday of each month is dedicated to missions, reflecting an outward focus. This involves evangelism, community reports, and prayer support for ministry needs. The concept of "mission" is clarified as not limited to remote work but includes city missions, apostolic missions, and kingdom missions among leaders. A fundamental shift in spiritual administration is emphasized - where divine power isn't just upon believers but dwells within them. This incarnate presence brings transformation through life impartation rather than mere words or sermons. The gathering acknowledges that in changing times, everything must be redefined, including how mission is articulated and doctrine presented, with elders guiding this process and leaders exemplifying what they teach to avoid the operational hypocrisy that characterized the Pharisees.
