Melchizedek School of Priesthood | Jun 26, 2025 Every culture and civilization operates under spiritual governance designed to keep you bound to earthly patterns and identities. From birth, you've been programmed to identify primarily by your nationality, profession, family background, or social status. These are not your true identity. You are a child of God first, and everything else flows from that reality. When you continue to identify by worldly categories, you unknowingly submit to the spiritual systems that govern this age. You must repent—which means to change your mind—about who you truly are. Stop allowing cultural expectations and worldly wisdom to define your life's direction. Your spiritual development follows a clear progression, much like physical growth. Just as a baby requires milk before transitioning to solid food, your spiritual journey has distinct phases: **The Milk Stage**: You begin with the basic truths of God's word—simple, easily digestible spiritual nourishment that establishes your foundation as a believer. **The Transition Phase**: As you mature, you graduate from milk alone to a mixture of milk and solid food, building strength and understanding. **The Meat Stage**: Eventually, you reach a place where you can handle the deeper, more substantial truths of God's word that bring complete transformation. Most believers remain stuck in the milk stage throughout their entire Christian experience because they don't understand this progression or actively pursue spiritual maturity. ## Understanding Your Divine Inheritance You carry within you an inheritance that far exceeds anything this world offers. However, like the servant in Christ's parable who buried his talent, many believers leave this inheritance wrapped and unused. You're searching externally for things that are already within you in seed form. Your inheritance isn't primarily about material blessings—houses, cars, or financial prosperity. It's about the very life of God manifesting through your spirit, soul, and body. This life has the power to transform you completely, even to the point of physical glorification. ## The Process of Spiritual Maturity Your growth requires the Holy Spirit's guidance at every stage, but as you mature, you need deeper revelation and understanding. The Spirit of wisdom and revelation must illuminate: - The hope of your calling (why God called you specifically) - The riches of His inheritance in you (what you actually carry) - The exceeding greatness of His power toward you (what's available to you) Without understanding these three elements, you'll remain spiritually immature regardless of how long you've been a believer. Give yourself completely to God's word. Reduce time spent on worldly entertainment and pursuits that feed the old nature. Allow the Spirit to lead you step by step from your current level of maturity to the fullness of what God has prepared for you. **The Milk Stage**: You begin with the basic truths of God's word—simple, easily digestible spiritual nourishment that establishes your foundation as a believer. **The Transition Phase**: As you mature, you graduate from milk alone to a mixture of milk and solid food, building strength and understanding. **The Meat Stage**: Eventually, you reach a place where you can handle the deeper, more substantial truths of God's word that bring complete transformation. When you engage with Scripture, you're not merely gaining knowledge—you're feeding the incorruptible seed within you. This is why passionate desire for God's word is essential.
