Sitting beneath the billowing branches, leaves fall like relics of the past, allowing their story to be heard one by one. The mountains appear to beckon the sky closer, inviting in the stars and galaxies that lie beyond. Pasts, presents and futures come together and in this moment the universe seems a little bit smaller. Even if only for a moment... Canopy sounds is thrilled to feature the sounds of VieL for our sixth adventure! Originally from Greece, VieL developed a wide taste for music as a radio DJ. He explored sounds such as acid jazz, soul, ambient, techno and drum' n' bass which ultimately led him to his passion for electronic music, landing him residencies in some of the most renowned venues of Athens. VieL has been honing in on his unique, melodic studio that becomes increasingly recognizable with every release. Recent label appearances include The Purr Music, Magician On Duty, Where The Heart Is, Dream Culture, Submarine Vibes, Ready Mix Records and Spring Tube. With a knack for putting out incredible remixes, not to mention his original works, VieL's sounds continue to be favorited by talents such as Kora, YokoO, Death On The Balcony, Lost Desert and more.
